Dear Friends and Partners,

We just celebrated one of my favorite times of the year!

The Easter season is always a time that I enjoy for it represents resurrection, revival, renewal, rebirth, rejuvenation, regeneration and reawakening. It was great to spend my time in Uganda with Eve and all the children as we celebrated the rising of our king!

This year, I took some time to reflect upon how much we are loved.

How much we are able to love because God first loved us.

God loves us so much that he allowed his son to take on the sins of all the world and to die the death we should have died…

During the time of crucifixion his son cried out, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”)..

That is such a painful part of the story, but I love this part because He loves so much that he raised his son from the dead. Not forsaking him but for the redemption of all his childreJesus isn. For he then would always be with us until the end of time.

I am eternally grateful for this love..this love that is so rich and powerful that I can rest even in my weariness, because I know what His love for me means. His love endures all things and NEVER fails.

This is something we all know, but just as I was meditating on the power of His love this season, I became so reenergized, I just wanted to share that reflection with you.

I pray for you all daily!
